Spread across 5 villages, Courchevel is a multifaceted ski resort. In Courchevel Le Praz, where our hotel is located, discover the charm of an authentic alpine village with its chalets, narrow streets, and impressive Olympic ski jump facilities (Albertville 1992). Also visit Courchevel Saint-Bon, the cradle of the ski resort, Courchevel Village and its magnificent toboggan run, Courchevel Moriond, set on a natural ‘balcony’ with exceptionally sunny weather, and Courchevel, the highest village at an altitude of 1,850 m. This is the where the 5th village is located, built in 1946 on vacant land, and home to an avant-garde resort which still serves as a reference today. Take a stroll to admire the unique architectural heritage with several listed buildings, including the Lang, Joliot-Curie, and Petit Navire chalets, and the Chapel of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption.
In winter, Courchevel is a paradise for skiers. Everything is designed to get you out onto the snow fields as quickly as possible. The ski resort boasts 150 km of slopes and 58 ski lifts, as well as recreational areas for beginners. It offers access to the world's largest skiing area, the 3 Vallées with 600 km of connecting slopes.
In summer, Courchevel reveals the colours of the Alps and offers a mountain of other activities including hiking, bike riding, horse riding, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, golf, paragliding, and fishing in mountain lakes. Among the facilities available at the resort, you will find the largest mountain-based aquatic centre in Europe, Aquamotion, with areas for recreation, sports, relaxation and outdoor activities to ensure fun for all visitors.Find out more about
